About This Project

Unisphere is a social app designed to give students a better social and interactive experience during the pandemic lockdowns and quarantines. It provides students with a virtual space to meet new friends, share coffee time online, and join study rooms.

Unisphere 是一款社交应用程序，旨在为学生在疫情期间学校关闭时提供更好的社交和互动体验。
我们想为学生提供一个结识新朋友、在线聊天、分享娱乐、以及共同学习的线上空间。

UI Design

Note: This is a creative project designed to test the overall interestingness of a business plan. Therefore, please don’t get too hung up on every detail of the interface and the logic behind it.

*这是一个创意商业课堂项目，旨在测试一个商业计划的整体趣味性，App形式只是我们探索为学生群体提供服务的其中一种媒介和方式。因此，请不要过于关注界面内的每个细节。

Quiet Lounge

The quiet lounge is designed to resemble a study room or a library. It shows the decibel bar for users to keep quiet simultaneously. We hope students don't find themselves too lonely when studying for exams late at night.

Sky Lounge

If you prefer a more relaxed and playful mood, join the sky lounge. It has live music playlist on all the time. You can play or pause the music and chat to people in the chatroom.

Coffee Time

If your time zone is not at night or you don't feel like night jazz, join the coffee chat room or any other virtual rooms with music playlists. You may also create your own space and update your own playlist to welcome friends in if you want.

Who's in your City

During the pandemic, students have no campus access and they have problem making new friends. Simply upload your student ID and this feature will help you find peers at your age in your area.

Group Project

Each of us use different App to communicate, and it's hard to make an unanimous decision.

This feature combines multiple features designated for group projects. It allows you to edit, record, talk, draw, insert photos, and add-to-calendar, all in one App.

On-Site Events

The lockdown is about to over, where should I meet my new friends? In the lab, on the cruise, or in the gallery? Explore the nearby events posted by your peers!

User Profile

Of course you have your user profile. It's for people to know who you are, especially when you can't meet on-site. Add infos about yourself or start an event to know more people after Covid ends!
