My Contribution
Under Your Skin is a Scandinavian skincare brand blending nature and science to create effective, organic products with a minimalist design. Loved by over 200,000 users worldwide, it prioritizes high-quality ingredients that nourish both skin and the planet. Rooted in sustainability and transparency, the brand empowers confidence through conscious self-care.
After thriving in Sweden and Europe, Under Your Skin is entering the U.S. market in 2024, bringing its Scandinavian beauty philosophy to a broader audience. The brand is launching a redesigned website to cater to consumers in both the U.S. and Europe. This ensures a seamless, elegant, and regionally tailored experience for its growing global community.
The challenge was to address the differing needs of Swedish and U.S. users—while Swedish users recognized the brand’s prestige, U.S. users were encountering it for the first time. To introduce the brand effectively, we emphasized its core strengths, including natural ingredients, before-and-after user reviews, and best-selling kits and bundles. This strategy ensured the brand’s key message resonated with U.S. consumers while maintaining its established appeal for Swedish audiences.
As the lead visual UX designer in the U.S. office, I collaborated closely with a Swedish UI designer and Polish developers to create a cohesive and user-friendly experience across mobile and desktop platforms. Together, we redesigned key pages, including the homepage, product details, and About Us, ensuring consistency and appeal for a global audience. This diverse teamwork brought unique perspectives and expertise, resulting in a polished and inclusive design.
